Advancing Net Zero Commitments in Indonesia’s Sportswear Supply Chain

Tah Sung Hung, a trusted partner of Adidas, sought to advance its climate ambition by pursuing validation under the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Following its participation in the KADIN Net Zero Hub’s Corporate Assistance Program, the company faced the challenge of strengthening its GHG emissions baseline and aligning its target-setting approach with SBTi requirements across its supply chain.

Solution

Bestari supported the company throughout the SBTi process by improving its GHG emissions inventory, ensuring methodological alignment during validation, updating the baseline emissions, and identifying potential emissions reduction strategies across its operations and supply chain.

Result

As of October 2024, Tah Sung Hung successfully obtained SBTi approval for its near-term emissions reduction targets, marking a significant step forward in its climate journey and reinforcing its role within a sustainability-driven global supply chain.
